TERM 2 WEEK 1

term 2 week 1

This week we had our Common test papers back. After a few minutes of going through the papers. We were told to put our things aside and push the tables and chairs to the side of the classroom. Ms Malyana told us to spread ourselves around the space in the middle of the classroom. She told us to close our eyes and imagine walking.
There are a variety of walking , heavy steps, light steps etc.
Ms Malyana told us to walk in different speed . At first, walk at the speed of 1 then 2 and till the speed of 7. Then, she told us to create a group. The group has to be multi-racial. My group consist of two Malays and a Chinese. They are Zaimah, myself and Hong Rong. Ms Malyana said that we will have to perform the story about Macbeth. The performance was sheduled on the 9th of April on Friday. Its like 3 weeks from now. We had to create the costume and props by ourselves. This teaches us to be independent.

On Friday, we had to do the same thing but walk like a child, grandmother, and gangster.

term 1 week 10

term 1 week 10

this week we learn about the topic on LOVE. We were given a paper and make the paper into a brochure. We had to create a name for our brochure. My brochure name was " A Another Love Story" Then we had to asked 5 girls and 5 boys what qualities their future partners must have . Out of the qualities i have asked my friends, the most essential for me is Honesty. We need honest because if we are not honest to each of our partner, the other partner may not believe in what we are doing now.

Also according to greeks LOVE is ...

EROS ,
passonate love or longing

PHILA ,
brotherhood & frienship . Involves loyalty to friends, family and community

AGAPE ,
a divine, unconditional & self - sacrificing affection . The highest & purest form of LOVE .

Our holiday homework was to to write a love poem for our loved one, write down my favourite love song lyrics and also interview an married adult and ask them what is necessary for a loving and successful marriage .

Term 1 week 9

Term 1 week 9

on monday we learnt about a shakespeare's sonnet :

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?Thou art more lovely and more temperate:Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,And summer's lease hath all too short a date:Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines,And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometimes declines,By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed; But thy eternal summer shall not fade,Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

My guess this sonnet is about a girl

on wednesday we had a Literature remedial we were group into a group six. The group consists of pupils from 2 Thinking and 2 Dynamic . I think it is good to be group from a mix of pupils because we will learn how to work with people who we don't know .

On Friday, we were brought to somewhere in school ,and had to partner someone and asked them question we had made on the Literature remedial on wednesday . i thought the ideal of questioning people is great its like an interview .
